The successful completion of the aerodynamic field test for Unit 1's boiler marks an important milestone in the 2×1,000 MW coal-fired power integration project at the Zhunda Power Plant in Juungar Economic Development Zone and paves the way for subsequent full-scale unit startup.
The aerodynamic field test plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and stable operation of boilers and enhancing energy utilization efficiency.
Prior to the test, the plant's boiler specialist team meticulously planned and developed a comprehensive commissioning strategy alongside safety measures. Daily follow-ups and closed-loop management were implemented to ensure seamless execution. At the same time, dynamic verification was conducted on thermal instrumentation for air and smoke systems, electrical equipment, and alarm signals to guarantee reliable equipment operation.
The Zhunda Power Plant's 2×1,000 MW expansion project is a key initiative aimed at bolstering regional energy security and advancing high-quality development in the energy sector. Moving forward, the Juungar Economic Development Zone will continue to provide comprehensive support and tracking services to facilitate progress on the project and support the plant in its subsequent commissioning efforts.
