The upcoming May 20 will witness a group wedding with a Chinese vibe in Kangbashi. Co-organized by the district's Bureau of Civil Affairs, the Communist Youth League Committee, and the Women's Federation, the event is completely free and is calling on all qualified newlyweds. Here are the details.

Participants: Couples who register their marriage in Kangbashi District between May 18 and 20 are eligible.

Application: You can apply by phone (0477-8391008) or in person at the Marriage Registration Center at Ordos Wedding Culture Park. The deadline is May 18, 2026 (12:00 pm). Only the first 20 couples to apply will be accepted.

1.   A simplified wedding ceremony incorporating customs and rituals from the Tang and Song dynasties.

2.   Free attire, makeup, photography, and videography.

3.   A public welfare lecture by family relations experts.
