In Ordos, the three separate procedures that used to require separate handling—marriage registration, household registration information changes, and spousal relocation for household registration—can now be completed "in a single visit."
To better serve the "new citizens" of Ordos and attract more people to settle in the city, a reward of 1,000 RMB worth of "Duo Duo Ping" material points will be granted to "new citizens" who register their marriage in Ordos. These points are designated for wedding photography services provided by merchants on the "Duo Duo Ping" platform.
Ordos has announced a new policy to incentivize new residents to register their marriages. Effective immediately, new residents who register their marriage in Ordos will receive a 1,000 yuan ($141) credit in "Duo Duo Ping" points.
