The concert began with the well-known Manhan tune piece "Zigzagging Yellow River", which showcased the majestic momentum of China's Mother River and struck a chord with people living along its banks.

While preserving the essence of these intangible cultural heritages, the performers introduced new elements and innovated their arrangements. The traditional quartet of Ordos folk music — the three-stringed zither, four-stringed lute, yangqin, and flute — remained the cornerstone, while modern wind and percussion instruments enriched the sound and added vitality. Recomposed classic pieces, such as "Wedding Escort Song" and "Aristocrat Lady", even brought in the guzheng and Morin Khuur, amazing the audience.

Unlike commercial performances, the Ordos Nairi concert focused on vocal delivery and took pure artistic expression as its core principle. There was no ostentatious packaging — only the reliable skills of the performers to tell the story of this Warm City.

The concert marks the dedicated efforts of the Ordos Municipal Ulan Muqir Troupe and served as an excellent example of promoting and developing folk art.
