In recent years, Ordos has used public information platforms as its hub, adopting a city-wide centralized construction model to break down data barriers across hierarchical, departmental, and regional boundaries, creating a "fast lane" for data sharing.
To date, the city has collected 398 data requests from 75 units, generating 323 responsibility lists and 75 negative lists. The public information platform now connects 590 departments, has compiled 9,672 public data directories, and has accumulated a total of 1.47 billion data entries.
In March, five foundational databases and 22 specialized databases covering key sectors were fully established. The foundational databases aggregate 1,528 indicators and 46.77 million data entries, while the specialized databases include 977 indicators and 74.42 million data entries, providing a solid foundation for cross-departmental collaborative governance.
The public information resource open platform continues to expand, covering 13 key fields including housing and construction, civil affairs, culture and tourism, and public security. Increasing amounts of public data are being released to society, offering data for corporate innovation and public life.
