A case study on how traditional Ordos wedding customs have been integrated into cultural tourism development has been selected as a national model for applied innovation in folk culture.

The study, submitted by the Ordos Academy of Cultural and Artistic Creation, was recently included in the 2025 list of typical cases for the creative transformation and innovative development of folk culture, released by the Chinese Association of Folk Literature and Art.
