Inner Mongolia Xinhe Resource Investment Group recently received pre-qualification approval from TNB Fuel Services (TNBF), a subsidiary of Malaysia's electricity utility, becoming the only Chinese supplier admitted into Malaysia's power system.
Jamal Bin Yusoff, managing director of TNBF, presented the qualification certificate to Xinhe Group on May 25. Wu Ren, president of Xinhe Group's International Business Division, led the team to this key breakthrough.

Over the past year, Xinhe Group has made comprehensive preparations in response to the access requirements of Malaysia's power system, covering qualification review, coal supply system verification, international trade performance records, and financial risk control. The group also conducted multiple rounds of technical and commercial exchanges with Malaysian counterparts, with resource coordination support from its partner mining companies in Indonesia.
Xinhe Group has now completed important steps such as document submission, qualification evaluation, coal source audit, and internal approval, and has officially entered the candidate procurement system of Malaysia's power sector.
Xinhe Group stated that more "Xinhe Coal" products would enter the Malaysian market in the future, contributing to regional energy supply stability. This milestone marks an important step forward in the group's international expansion.
