The People's Government of Hanggin Banner, the Administrative Committee of Hanggin Economic Development Zone, and Zhongshi Century (Tianjin) Technology Development Co held a new material project signing ceremony on May 20.

The project involves a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan($234 million). It is planned to be constructed in two phases to produce 8,000 tons of meta-aramid and composite materials annually, with full production expected to be achieved by 2028. Upon completion, the project will leverage Hanggin Banner's abundant green electricity resources to achieve a deep integration of "green electricity + high-energy-load industries + new materials," extend the industrial chain, enhance regional economic strength, and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of Hanggin Banner.
