Ordos city has established a new model of government-business interaction through its business environment officer system. This initiative, characterized by government leadership, business involvement, and societal participation, aims to make business operations more efficient, communication smoother, and development more secure.
Ordos has publicly recruited business environment officers from various sectors, including business association representatives, business leaders, legal professionals, media personnel, and engaged citizens. As ordinary business participants, they experience processes like business registration, project approval, and tax processing, providing third-party feedback on business concerns.
In response to the issue highlighted by many officers about the challenges new businesses face in operations, Ordos has launched introductory training to improve business onboarding. To address commuting difficulties in the Juungar Banner Dalu Industrial Park, relevant departments have swiftly introduced a "commuter train" service to meet urgent needs.
To tackle inconsistent law enforcement and inadequate policy publicity, multiple departments have launched special rectification efforts, standardizing administrative inspections and fostering a fair and transparent legal business environment.
Ordos has also upgraded its former "Business Environment Officer Platform" to the "Warm City Service Platform for Enterprises". This enhanced platform integrates functions such as issue collection, task allocation, progress tracking, feedback evaluation, and data analysis, enabling fully digital management of feedback. So far, the platform has handled over 1,400 feedback items with a 100 percent timely resolution rate, ensuring every issue is addressed and resolved.
Ordos will continue to prioritize business feedback and experience, enhancing government-business communication. The city aims to create an environment where businesses can invest, innovate, and grow with confidence, promising unlimited development potential.
