The Ordos municipal bureau of statistics released data on Oct 25 showing that the city's GDP for the first three quarters reached 483.71 billion yuan ($68.13 billion), up 5.6 percent year on year at constant prices.

Primary industries reached 5.95 billion yuan, up 3.6 percent year-on-year; secondary industries hit 344.68 billion yuan, up 6.7 percent; and tertiary industries contributed 133.08 billion yuan, up 3 percent.

Ordos' economic fundamentals have remained solid, the industrial structure has continued to improve, new growth drivers have accelerated their development, and the underpinnings of high-quality development have been further consolidated.
