In recent years, Ordos has been steadily improving its talent development environment and refining its talent introduction policies.

By attracting talent through industry development, retaining talent through career opportunities, and supporting talent with supportive services, the city has fostered a favorable ecosystem for young professionals to grow and thrive.

Amid the transformation and upgrading of the energy sector and the rapid expansion of emerging industries, demand for talent across various fields continues to rise.

Opportunities cover a wide range of specialties, including education, human resources, administrative management, new media operations, international business, marketing, and financial management, offering abundant career choices and broad development prospects for university graduates.

Ordos plans to attract more than 100,000 young professionals within three years and build itself into a premier destination for youth employment and entrepreneurship.

To attract outstanding young talent to settle and develop in the city, Ordos has rolled out a comprehensive package of supportive policies:

1. Special program for recruiting top graduates from prestigious universities

Outstanding graduates from key universities are recruited. Doctoral and master's graduates employed by public institutions directly under the municipal government are eligible for corresponding talent benefits.

2. "Ordos Future Star" scholarship

One-time awards are granted to outstanding university students originally from Ordos:

Doctoral students: 5,000 yuan ($738.21) per student.

Master's students: 3,000 yuan per student.

Undergraduates: 2,000 yuan per student.

Outstanding recipients will also be selected as campus attracted-talent ambassadors.

3. Pre-introduction program for master's and doctoral candidates

Students who sign pre-introduction agreements during their studies and work full-time in Ordos upon graduation will enable their employers to receive talent introduction subsidies:

Up to 50,000 yuan for doctoral holders.

Up to 30,000 yuan for master's holders.

4. Special support for industrial talent

(1) Living subsidies for urgently needed talent recruited by key enterprises

Core professionals with an annual salary of 600,000 yuan or higher: one-time living subsidy of 100,000 yuan.

Undergraduates: one-time living subsidy of 10,000 yuan.

(2) Long-term living subsidies

Talents newly recruited by key enterprises who have worked for at least three years may receive monthly living subsidies for up to 24 months:

Doctoral holders and professionals with senior professional titles: 3,000 yuan per month.

Master's holders, professionals with associate senior professional titles, and senior technicians: 2,000 yuan per month.

Undergraduates, professionals with intermediate professional titles, and technicians: 1,500 yuan per month.
