Four outstanding teachers from Ordos have been announced as winners of the "New-Quality Labor Education for the Future" themed lesson presentation competition by the Department of Education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, securing one first prize and three third prizes. Their collective performance placed them among the top in the region.
Organized by the autonomous region’s education department, the event aimed to highlight locally distinctive labor education programs – curriculum focused on practical skills, work experience and craftsmanship – while enhancing the professional expertise of labor education teachers.
The entries presented by Ordos teachers stood out for their creative integration of local culture – including cashmere handicraft traditions, AI-enabled hands-on learning, and the ethos of craftsmanship – into forward-thinking course designs that drew unanimous praise from the judging panel.
Ordos will continue to follow regional guidelines, using competition experiences to cultivate leading teachers, develop model lessons, and tap into local labor resources to develop a distinctive approach to hands-on education.
