The project serves as a model of the "enterprise + village collective + farming households" mechanism. Jointly developed by Inner Mongolia Gaoyuan Almond Milk Co and Fulu village, it aims to build a seamless industrial chain and create a new rural business model that integrates planting, deep processing, rural tourism, and study tours.
"Xing", which means happiness in Chinese, sounds similar to the Chinese word for apricot – alluding to the better life the project promises to bring to the village.
The two sides have maintained a cooperative relationship for over two decades, and this new phase of the partnership is set to last three to five years. They plan to upgrade local industries, improve the ecological environment, enhance public services and livelihoods, and develop cultural tourism.
To improve the quality of the village's apricots, a standardized planting base will be built, with the enterprise supplying quality seeds, technical guidance, and purchase guarantees at set prices. The industrial chain will also be extended to include complementary activities such as breeding and cultivation under the apricot trees, providing jobs to locals.
Tourism will be integrated with the apricot industry. A scenic apricot-viewing belt will be developed, with regular activities including apricot blossom festivals, fruit-picking events, and study tours – all aimed at building a stronger brand for the village.
On the ecological front, a "Xingfu village" campaign will be promoted, encouraging villagers to plant apricot trees in idle spaces to beautify their surroundings while developing courtyard economies. Green circular agriculture will be encouraged across the area, with pollution control measures in place to balance development and environmental protection.

To raise living standards, the company has set up a public welfare fund to provide regular skills training in planting and support impoverished households.
