The project plans to construct two 660 MW high-efficiency ultra-supercritical coal-fired units with deep peak regulation capabilities. It is a key project under the national "14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25)" for the Western Inner Mongolia power grid and serves as a critical component of the "coal-power-chemical-new energy" industrial chain in the China Coal Tuke Industrial Park. Once completed, the project will significantly advance regional energy integration and development.

The project has entered the final stages of civil construction and is now focusing on intensive equipment installation. The construction team is strengthening project coordination, maintaining strict safety and quality standards, and closely monitoring key milestones such as the boiler hydrostatic test and turbine cover installation to accelerate project progress.

According to the plan, the project will complete the boiler hydrostatic test and turbine cover installation by the end of 2026, with both units expected to be operational by 2027. Once commissioned, the project will inject robust green energy into Uxin Banner's energy structure transformation and high-quality development.
