At the Ordos CRRC Times New Energy Equipment Co, 20 massive "big guys" stand in neat formation, ready to be shipped across the country. These "big guys" are exactly the core components of the company's 6.25MW wind turbine generator sets — the nacelles and yaw drive devices.
As the "smartest brain" of the wind turbine, this unit features functions such as intelligent wind alignment, automatic deceleration, and remote monitoring. The nacelle cover adopts a modular design, allowing flexible combinations to reduce mold costs. The drivetrain uses a "three-point support" structure, offering good system flexibility and strong wind resistance.
Meng Xiaofang, the company's production manager, said the products are mainly sold to Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Inner Mongolia, with orders at full capacity. Market orders for 2026 are expected to reach 200 units, with an annual output value of nearly 2 billion yuan($276 million). Currently, 7 nacelles are in final assembly, 4 are ready for shipment, and 20 units outside the park will be shipped out in phases this month.
