A comprehensive tail gas reuse project, developed by Inner Mongolia Jiutai New Material Technology Co., has recently gone into production, marking the first of its kind for the autonomous region.

The project involves a total investment of 60 million yuan (about $8.8 million) and is designed with an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons of LNG and 6,000 tons of LEG. Based on the current market price of approximately 4,500 yuan ($659.8) per ton, it is expected to generate over 70 million yuan ($10.26 million) in annual economic returns. Meanwhile, it will help cut carbon dioxide emissions by 100,000 tons each year, achieving both economic and environmental benefits.
