On the evening of March 3, the Lantern Festival, the sky above Ulan Mulun Lake in Kangbashi District became a living canvas where technology and festivity merged in stunning harmony.1.jpg

One thousand drones rose in unison, their precisely choreographed formations spelling out blessings like "Horse Galloping into 2026" and "Happy Lantern Festival" in Chinese characters, while morphing into beloved cartoon figures and the mythical Monkey King riding atop clouds—each seamless transition drawing gasps and cheers from the crowd below.2.jpg

As the drone performance concluded, fireworks burst forth with a crisp salute, blooming into brilliant peonies and golden chrysanthemums against the night sky. Streaks of light arced like meteors, some cascading in shimmering waterfalls while others scattered like stars across the lake's surface. With faces tilted upward and smiles glowing in the flashes, residents and visitors alike captured the moment—a celebration where the magic of light and the warmth of togetherness became one.
