A milestone has been achieved in Ordos City with the first independently developed VTOL fixed-wing inspection drone rolling off the production line in Juungar Banner, turning the vision of locally manufactured drones from blueprint to reality.
The model, independently developed by Dadao Kongtian High-tech (Inner Mongolia) Co, will be applied in fields such as forestry, grassland, water conservancy, and agricultural inspection. The final assembly area utilizes a "hive factory" flexible production line, supported by modular design and digital twin technology, achieving a seamless transition from research and development to mass production. Through material selection and structural optimization, the drone's takeoff, landing stability, and endurance in complex environments such as low temperatures, strong winds, and sandstorms have been significantly improved.
The technical team has developed an anti-jamming navigation and intelligent obstacle avoidance system, enabling precise obstacle avoidance and rapid target identification in complex environments such as power line inspections and energy patrols, thereby greatly improving operational efficiency. The company, rooted in the industrial realities and regional characteristics of Juungar Banner, promotes the expansion of low-altitude technology from the "manufacturing end" to the "application end," filling the industrial gap in low-altitude aircraft manufacturing in the region. Currently, the company is collaborating with Guoxing Energy Group Co in a strategic partnership to jointly promote the high-quality development of the low-altitude economy.
