To make it easier for residents to access government services during regular working hours, Kangbashi district in Ordos has introduced nighttime services.

By establishing evening service windows within local communities, the district offers government services right at residents' doorsteps. This approach effectively staggers service times and ensures uninterrupted access.

The nighttime services operate from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm, excluding public holidays. Residents can use the services on their way home from work or after dinner.

Kangcheng community and Shenhua Kangcheng community have begun offering 426 frequently needed government services, including issues related to market access, social security inquiries, and other public services.

The experienced nighttime service specialists provide on-site consultations, preliminary document reviews, and process guidance. They offer one-on-one explanations of the conditions required for various services and check application materials to ensure that residents understand the process and can complete their tasks.

Simple requests are processed immediately, while more complex cases are prioritized for the next day, ensuring that every nighttime service interaction is both warm and efficient.
