The Meiji Changheli Nightless City in Ordos has been recognized as a 2026 influential case in China's tourism industry for its innovative approach to digital empowerment. Located in the northern part of Ordos along the Yellow River, this project is a key hub for nighttime cultural and tourism consumption.

The Meiji Changheli Nightless City delves deeply into the rich tapestry of Yellow River culture, ancient Meiji culture, and Mahan folk traditions. With a vision to transform "nightscapes into night economy”, the project leverages digital technology to transition traditional night tourism areas into immersive, all-season smart cultural and tourism complexes, providing a model for the digital transformation of culture and tourism in Inner Mongolia.

The project breathes life into local culture through digital light shows, digital intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, and interactive AR experiences. It transforms static historical resources into interactive nighttime experiences, developing digital cultural products and immersive digital experiences.

The launch of the "One-Tap Changheli Tour" mini-program integrates features such as reservations, panoramic guides, audio commentary, smart parking, and an online marketplace. This mini-program employs location-based services to provide on-the-go navigation and commentary, creating a comprehensive smart service system.

Looking ahead, the project plans to upgrade its big data platform, expanding into AI commentary, digital human interaction, metaverse night tours, and digital IP development. These enhancements aim to extend the digital cultural tourism industry chain, furthering Inner Mongolia's high-quality development through digital empowerment.
