To further implement policies promoting employment and entrepreneurship among farmers and herdsmen, Ordos city has launched a program to identify displaced farmers and herdsmen facing employment difficulties. Eligible individuals can apply for recognition under this program to access various employment support policies.

Displaced farmers and herdsmen who are permanent urban residents, of legal working age, able and willing to work, and registered as unemployed can apply for recognition as having employment difficulties. Once recognized, they can benefit from policies such as placement in urban public welfare positions and social insurance subsidies for flexible employment.

The term "displaced farmers and herdsmen" refers to women aged 40 and above or men aged 50 and above who have lost their contracted farmland or pastureland due to government land requisition at the county level or above. Individuals receiving land compensation that exceeds the local unemployment insurance standard are not eligible for this program.

Application Channels:

Offline: Applicants may apply in person at the public employment service platform in their community of residence. Where no community-level platform exists, applications can be submitted at the public employment service platform of the local township or sub-district office.

Online: Applications can be submitted via the "Employment Inner Mongolia" WeChat mini-program.
