The opening ceremony featured keynote speeches from academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with international experts, covering topics like multi-energy integration, cutting-edge technologies, and strategic trends. Industry leaders from CHN Energy, China Huaneng, and China Three Gorges Corporation discussed industrial implementation and development.

Five major innovations have been unveiled, including sustainable aviation fuel production via CO₂ hydrogenation, a digital-driven zero-carbon park design, an AI-powered multi-energy dispatch platform, and a rare-earth-based solid-state hydrogen storage solution. These breakthroughs highlight Inner Mongolia's innovation and industrial strength in new energy and materials.

Ordos is capitalizing on new energy and materials opportunities, driving industrial transformation with initiatives like "Zero Carbon+", "AI+", and "Synthetic Biology+", and fostering the integration of traditional and new energy sectors to create a "second growth curve."

Running alongside the conference is the World New Energy and New Materials Exhibition, spanning 30,000 square meters with eight zones dedicated to sectors like wind power, solar PV, hydrogen energy, and energy storage. Over 300 companies and 8,000 attendees are participating.
