2. Online Application Channels

Web: Apply through the Inner Mongolia Administration for Market Regulation online application platform or the Inner Mongolia Government Services website.

Mobile: Apply via the Mengsuban app by searching for "Convenience Store/Supermarket Startup" or "Individual Business Registration," or through the Inner Mongolia Market Regulation Mobile Application.

3. Application Process

(1) Register and verify your identity: Create a personal or legal entity account and complete facial recognition verification.

(2) Apply for a business name: Submit a proposed name online for automatic duplicate-name and compliance checks.

(3) Enter registration information: Provide accurate details on the business, operator, contact person, business scope, and premises.

(4) Upload documents: Submit electronic copies of required materials, including the operator's ID and proof of business premises, such as a property certificate or lease agreement.

(5) Sign and submit: Complete identity verification and electronic signing through Alipay's "Identity Verification for Registration" mini program, then submit the application for review.

(6) Receive the license: After approval, download via the "Electronic Business License" mini program on WeChat or Alipay. You can also have a paper license mailed to you or collect it at a local government service center.

4. Important Notes

Applicants must ensure that all information and documents are accurate, complete, clear, and consistent with actual business operations. Incomplete or invalid submissions may delay approval.

Businesses in special sectors such as catering and healthcare must obtain any required prior approvals, permits or registrations and submit the relevant documents before completing business license registration.
