Ordos Nairi Cultural Theme Park has recently been unveiled in Otog Banner. Upgraded from the Western Ordos Culture Theme Park, the new park preserves its predecessor's key landscape features: a fountain, a lake, and a mountain ridge. Covering an area of 293 mu (approximately 19.53 hectares), it is also named Otog Music Valley.
Construction of the upgrade project began in December 2025 and was completed in March 2026. The park is designed with four major sections — Nairi Vibe, Pastoral Songs, Otog Symphony, and Children's Pop — featuring 11 specially designed experience spots. More than 500 Ordos folk songs, along with original local compositions and modern symphonic pieces, have been curated and arranged for the valley.
Through comprehensive infrastructure upgrades, the park is equipped with professional music playback devices and cultural display installations, creating an immersive experience that integrates sound, light, and imagery. This innovative approach brings intangible cultural heritage to life — making it something to experience, not just observe, and to be enjoyed by everyone, not just a few.
The completion of Otog Music Valley not only addresses gaps in public cultural services and enriches the spiritual life of local residents, but also burnishes the region's cultural identity and fosters interaction and exchange among different ethnic groups. It aligns public wellbeing with cultural preservation, allowing people to connect deeply with their hometown's heritage through its timeless melodies.
