Since March, as the resumption of work and production accelerates nationwide, the market demand for olefin raw materials has been rising. As a key domestic olefin production base, Uxin Banner in Inner Mongolia has coordinated the efforts of three major olefin enterprises to ensure stable supply. Currently, the average daily output of olefin products exceeds 14,000 tons, safeguarding a continuous supply of raw materials for the national market.
Among these, the Inner Mongolia Baofeng annual output of 3 million tons of coal-to-olefins project, the world's largest single-site coal-to-olefins production base, is operating at full capacity. The first phase of the project has now reached full production and efficiency, producing 9,000 tons of polyolefin products daily. The facility maintained continuous operations during the Spring Festival holiday.
The project leverages cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital twins to achieve fully intelligent manufacturing. Technicians in the central control room precisely monitor operations and predict equipment status in real time, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient production.
Meanwhile, local enterprises are embracing green development concepts by building a "wind-solar complementary" green power system and exploring the replacement of coal raw materials with green hydrogen, driving the green transformation of the coal chemical industry. With a determined and proactive approach, Uxin Banner is securing the national olefin supply chain and injecting momentum into high-quality local economic development.
