The Professor Jia Yuan Expert Station of Peking University People's Hospital was inaugurated on Jan 17 in Ordos, aiming to expand the balanced distribution of high-quality medical resources and enhance the specialized capabilities of regional healthcare institutions.

The station's launch marks a significant step in deepening collaboration between Ordos Central Hospital and Peking University People's Hospital, signaling a new phase of development for Ordos in the fields of rheumatology and immunology, and aligning with national top-tier platforms.

The "Clinical Practice Symposium on Connective Tissue Disease-Related Lung Disease" was also held alongside the station's inauguration, focusing on challenges in diagnosing and treating rheumatic and immune diseases. 

Experts discussed pulmonary involvement in rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, and systemic lupus erythematosus, and explored advancements in imaging assessment and anti-fibrotic treatments, offering attendees a rich academic experience.

This collaboration is expected to significantly improve the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases in Ordos, enhancing regional healthcare services.
