In 2025, Ordos saw a significant increase in passenger throughput at its airports, totaling 75,508 people, a 91.7 percent year-on-year growth. The number of flights also surged to over 600, reflecting a 99.7 percent increase.
Specifically, there were 37,395 arriving passengers and 38,113 departing passengers, with 54,237 international travelers. The airports achieved five-year highs in daily, monthly, and annual passenger traffic.
Passengers came for business, education, labor, and travel, with tourists coming from 44 countries, including South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, the United States, Germany, and Japan.
