The Ordos Agricultural and Pastoral Ecological and Resource Protection Center showcased its "Ordos Model" for the comprehensive utilization of saline-alkali land at the city's "research-bank-enterprise" development matchmaking conference on Jan 13. This innovative approach garnered much praise from the attendees.

The "Ordos Model" addresses key challenges in saline-alkali land management by developing critical technologies such as multi-organic fertilization, crop yield enhancement, and the construction of deep, fertile soil layers. It offers a systematic, graded solution for the comprehensive management of light, moderate, and severe saline-alkali lands.

Recognized for its outstanding technical achievements, the model has been featured in the "Saline-Alkali Land Utilization Technology Development Report" for two consecutive years as a national exemplar. It provides a replicable solution for saline-alkali land management across the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and indeed the country.

Leveraging the efficient collaboration platform provided by the "research-bank-enterprise" conference, the Ordos agricultural and pastoral bureau outlined its needs for technical collaboration and the industrialization of results in the key areas of saline-alkali land utilization.

Looking forward, Ordos Agricultural and Pastoral Ecological and Resource Protection Center plans to deepen its cooperation with universities, research institutions, financial organizations, and relevant enterprises. The goal is to continuously refine the saline-alkali land utilization technology system, accelerate the industrialization of scientific achievements, and expand the reach of the "Ordos Model".
