As winter tourism continues to grow, Ordos city's ski resorts have undergone extensive upgrades to offer richer experiences and improved facilities for both locals and tourists.
In Dongsheng district, Jiuchenggong International Ski Resort has enhanced its services and experiences this season by optimizing ski slopes and introducing a variety of snow play activities and family-friendly zones for all ages. Significant improvements have been made to the reception hall and dining areas. Currently, seven out of eight slopes are open, with full nighttime lighting in place, accommodating up to 3,000 visitors to enjoy the snow.

This winter, Jiuchenggong International Ski Resort will launch themed photo spots and unique dining combinations, snow-themed light and music shows, and a series of professional events and cultural activities such as the "Naadam Fair" and ice hockey invitationals, creating a diverse snow experience.
Wanzhou Ski Resort in Ejin Horoo Banner has also been upgraded, adding two intermediate-level ski slopes and enhancing night lighting and dining services. These improvements have attracted a significant number of visitors from local and surrounding areas, boosting the region's appeal as a winter tourism destination.
