The Ejin Horoo Banner People's Government signed an agreement with Shenyang North Heavy Mining Machinery Co to establish a coal machinery equipment base in Ordos on Dec 8. 

The project, with a total investment of approximately 5 billion yuan ($708 million), will be located in the Mengsu Economic Development Zone. It includes the construction of a modern high-end equipment production base, a national enterprise technology and innovation center, a coal mine disaster prevention engineering company, and an employee living area.

This project aims to enhance local production, manufacturing, and after-sales service capabilities for coal machinery in Ejin Horoo Banner. The local government is committed to providing comprehensive support throughout the project's lifecycle to ensure its swift implementation, construction, and operational success.
