Wang Dao Wine Industry Co, a company in Ordos, has started bottling its first batch of pure grain baijiu for export to Mongolia, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion into the Mongolian market. The initiative also represents a new foreign trade achievement for the Juungar Economic Development Zone.

"We are currently producing the first shipment destined for Mongolia, which comprises a container filled with 2,880 cases of baijiu," said Wang Dong, executive director of Wang Dao Wine. To cater to Mongolian market preferences, the company has custom-designed both the product's packaging and the liquor itself, launching a tailor-made baijiu specifically for Mongolian consumers.
Since 2019, Wang Dao Wine has been pursuing overseas markets, successfully entering the United States and Singapore. Earlier this year, the company initiated its expansion into Mongolia. Following thorough market research and negotiations, the company obtained the necessary import licenses for spirits over 40 percent alcohol by volume in Mongolia, facilitating this inaugural export.
Wang further revealed plans to expand exports post-Spring Festival in 2026, aiming to include a broader range of baijiu and beverages produced by Wang Dao Wine's partner Inner Mongolia Guojihua Food Technology Development Co for the Mongolian market. Additionally, the company is poised to enter the Russian market, with plans to supply over 60,000 local supermarkets with their baijiu and Guojihua's beverages.
