Academician Fu Bojie has been acknowledged for his profound academic contributions and extensive industry influence, making the list in both the Environment and Ecology and Geosciences categories. Professor Wang Shuai has been recognized in the Cross-Field category, while Associate Researcher Liu Yanxu has been listed in the Social Sciences category.

The Highly Cited Researchers list highlights top researchers from universities, research institutions, and commercial organizations worldwide, selecting those who have made significant academic contributions to their respective fields. It serves as a critical benchmark for evaluating the recognition and influence of researchers in the scientific community.

This year's list includes scientists from 60 countries and regions, representing over 1,300 institutions, with a total of 6,868 scientists being recognized. China has shown remarkable performance, with 1,406 entries, underscoring the country's robust growth in scientific research and its strong talent pool.

The repeated inclusion of these Ordos scientists not only highlights their exceptional contributions to their fields but also provides crucial talent support for local desertification prevention and sustainable development.
