Eight companies from the Juungar Economic Development Zone have recently earned a place on the list of specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, while the modern coal chemical industry cluster in the zone has been designated as a distinctive industry cluster for SMEs in the autonomous region. This ongoing surge in innovation is injecting vitality into the high-quality development of the local economy.
Among the newly recognized specialized and innovative SMEs is Inner Mongolia Yidong Dongyan Technology Co, an innovative enterprise centered on coal chemical technology research and development. The company has established an industry-academia-research collaboration platform, facilitating the successful transition of cutting-edge technological achievements from the "laboratory" to the "production line" within the development zone.
Another noteworthy company is Inner Mongolia Yuhua New Technology Materials Co, which focuses on solid waste resource utilization. Using the banner's rich coal gangue resources, the company has independently developed and produced M45 mullite products. With its core technological advantages, the company has achieved comprehensive market coverage in East and Central China.
In recent years, the Juungar Economic Development Zone has implemented various measures to stimulate corporate innovation. The zone currently boasts 11 specialized and innovative SMEs, 26 high-tech enterprises, and 31 scientific innovation platforms, with a total of 901 patents granted. These innovation achievements are laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the regional economy.
