The Uxin Banner Green Food Raw Material Standardized Production Base in Ordos has been recognized as a national model by the China Green Food Development Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. This accolade highlights Ordos' significant achievements in the field of standardized green food production and underscores the city's strength in developing sustainable agriculture.

The Uxin Banner base, covering an area of 545,000 mu (36,333 hectares), includes 200,000 mu of silage corn, 165,000 mu of corn, 100,000 mu of alfalfa, 50,000 mu of potatoes, and 30,000 mu of watermelon. The city's agriculture and animal husbandry bureau has established a quality traceability system and implemented grid management in accordance with green food production standards. Continuous monitoring ensures comprehensive oversight from field to table.

In recent years, Ordos has accelerated the development of a modern rural industrial system that combines agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries with production, processing, and sales. This has led to the formation of a robust green industrial system featuring high-quality fruits, vegetables, beef, lamb, and aquatic products. The growing green food brand matrix has significantly boosted the development of modern agriculture and animal husbandry, increasing incomes for local farmers and herders.

Looking ahead, Ordos plans to attract more producers to engage in green production, expand its high-quality agricultural and livestock production bases, and strengthen technological innovation and brand building. These efforts aim to increase the supply of the city's premium green products and expand their reach into broader markets.
