The inaugural round-trip flight handled a total import and export cargo volume of approximately 28 metric tons, including about 12 tons of outbound general trade goods and roughly 16 tons of inbound tropical fresh products such as Thai pomelos and young coconuts.

The route is scheduled to operate three times per week, with each flight expected to transport about 30 tons of freight in both directions. Exports mainly include machinery, electronics, and daily necessities, while imports primarily consist of fruit, seafood and other aquatic products from Thailand and Southeast Asia.

The new air link not only meets domestic demand for high-quality imported goods but also provides an efficient channel for local specialty products from Ordos to reach international markets.
