In Dongsheng, expansive forests of Mongolian pine act as green shields, safeguarding the city's ecological foundation. Hundreds of kilometers of urban greenways connect parks, wetlands, and communities. 

The district boasts 124 parks and green spaces, enhancing every corner of the urban landscape. With 31.26 million square meters of greenery and a green coverage rate of 44.1 percent, residents enjoy what has become a true hallmark of local life – lush views from their windows and parks just steps from home.

From morning to evening, parks and squares are filled with residents running, dancing, and exercising. Over 200,000 people in Dongsheng enjoy this "green happiness".
