The Ordos Science and Technology Innovation Museum commenced trial operations on Oct 16. Located in the Kangbashi district of Ordos, the museum features the theme "Intelligence, Empowerment, and Innovation" and spans a total area of approximately 25,000 square meters.

The museum features six thematic exhibition areas, including Enlightenment Horizon, Exploration and Discovery, Safeguarding Security, and Intelligence Leading the Future, as well as an Industrial Innovation Hall, a Desertification Control Innovation Hall, and a Forest and Grass Germplasm Resource Bank. By integrating local characteristics with cutting-edge technology, the museum emphasizes science education. 

The Ordos Science and Technology Innovation Museum is intended to showcase the city's image, while also serving as a practical science education base for youth and a new landmark for science and educational tourism, offering the public immersive interactive experiences and contributing to the enhancement of scientific literacy across the community.

The trial operations will involve phased stress testing, gradually increasing the frequency of openings through various formats and targeting different audiences.
