Located in the heart of the Juungar Coalfield, Heidaigou Mine and Haerwusu Mine are key contributors to the national energy supply. With verified annual production capacities of 34 million metric tons and 35 million tons, respectively, they account for over 40 percent of the banner's total coal production. Their strategic importance lies in supporting China's coal transportation networks.

The approved land will meet the mines' operational demands for the next five years, ensuring the sustainable development of Juungar's mining area, securing a stable energy supply, optimizing the coal industry structure, and boosting local socioeconomic growth. It will also strengthen Inner Mongolia's efforts to establish itself as a national energy and strategic resource base.
