In recent years, Juungar Banner has been driving industrial agglomeration to boost employment. As various quality projects mushroom, many talents have been attracted back home for jobs.
Jia Jing, a chemical analyst at Synfuels China Inner Mongolia Co, is among them. After graduating in 2011, she chose to return home and joined the company, which had just opened there. She has worked there for over 13 years and gained a lot of experience. Moreover, working at home guarantees her both a promising career and a happy life. "Having such a stable job close to home brings immense happiness," said Jia.

There are also younger people making the same choices. Chen Zhiruo graduated from Inner Mongolia University of Technology in 2024. With her degree in inorganic non-metallic new materials, she joined the Inner Mongolia Industrial Ceramics Design Institute, a company in Juungar Economic Development Zone's inorganic non-metallic new material industrial cluster.
The job provides an opportunity to use her specialized knowledge and a sound working environment. She feels lucky to have secured such a position right after graduating. "In addition to the usual lectures by professionals, our company also sends us to be trained at the Shandong Institute of Industrial Ceramics. Progress is rapid," said Chen.

Juungar Banner's job creating efforts are not confined to technology intensive positions. Its economic development zone also supports labor intensive industries, such as deep processing of agricultural and sideline products, to provide opportunities for the jobless.

To date, 128 specialized enterprises have started operating in the development zone, creating over 20,000 jobs. With more and more investment, advantageous projects in new energy and new materials have been launched, demonstrating a "sponge effect" in job creation and providing a broader platform for economic development and talent growth in Juungar Banner.
