The Library of Ordos held the 15th Spring Festival gift-giving gala on Jan 18, titled "Jovial Chinese New Year - welcome Spring Festival by reading and provide people with cultural benefits".
The library has held this series of activities for the past 15 years straight, and this year is no exception. Calligraphy enthusiasts showcased their skills by writing Spring Festival couplets. And among the bustling crowd, some readers also gave it a try!

Hearts were warmed as couplets were presented to our sanitation workers – the city's beauticians – in gratitude.

The library also carried out a variety of interactive programs involving DIY Chinese knots, new year painting, rubbing, poetic stickers, and more, allowing readers to appreciate traditional Chinese culture while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
