On Dec 25, 33,900 bottles of sea-buckthorn juices produced by Ordos-based Inner Mongolia Guojihua Food-Tech Co started their journey from Juungar Economic Development Zone in Ordos to the United States, marking the company’s first export to the US. These products will later be shipped via Ningbo Port and are expected to arrive in Los Angeles at the end of January.

Sea buckthorns have survived on this planet for over 200 million years. Its fruits, containing various amino acids needed by the human body and substances of bioactivity such as vitamins and fatty acids, are highly nutritious and a great medicinal material.

The company planned to enter international markets in the latter half of this year. In November, it received registration certification from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and prepared its first batch of products within a month.
