Taohutu Coal Mine, located in the Nalinhe Mine Area of Uxin Banner, Ordos, is expected to be operational by 2026. So far, the project has received an investment of approximately 2.73 billion yuan ($377 million), but is expected to receive a total of around 9.67 billion yuan. The project will also include a matching, same-scale coal preparation plant.

According to the project leader, construction on the mine has fully commenced. The main, auxiliary, and central return air shafts have completed excavation and lining construction; the north ventilation shaft has been drilled to the bottom and entered the second enlargement stage; and the coal preparation plant, dormitory building, and employees' activity center on the ground are continuing construction in an orderly manner.

It is expected that 85 percent of the civil engineering ground projects will have completed the main framework construction by the end of the year.
