This large-scale vocational skills competition involved 25 teams from the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces. The competition focused on caring for infants under 3 years old, which is in tune with the efforts of BRICS and countries involved in the Belt and Road to build high-quality partnerships and jointly shape a new era of global development.
The competition consisted of two parts: a theory test and a skill assessment, which examines the caregiver's basic knowledge and skills in keeping children safe, providing daily care, safeguarding health, and guiding early development.

The event was co-hosted by the BRICS Business Council, the Belt & Road and BRICS International Alliance for Skills Development, and the Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Training Center of China Association for Science and Technology.
