These runway pieces at the upcoming Paris Fashion Week are all created by designer Hao Guilan. While her name might be unfamiliar to some, her work, "Coiling Dragon in Rainbow Hues", was a standout during the 2024 CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

Hao explained that "Coiling Dragon in Rainbow Hues" symbolizes the agile, soaring dragon and the auspicious and magnificent rainbow. Crafted from fine-spun cashmere, the scarf features a vibrant Chinese red base color adorned with nine traditional characters for "dragon" in crimson, condensing the essence of ancient Chinese characters, dragon culture, and the dynamic flow of the Yellow River's twists and turns.

Hao, apparel design director of Dongfeiyan Cashmere Products Co, expressed that by participating in this top-level international fashion event, she aimed to enhance the global status of Ordos' cashmere industry, gain international recognition, and integrate Ordos into the global cashmere industrial chain. This will enhance the international influence of Ordos' cashmere industry, promoting the transformation of "China's Cashmere Capital" into the "World's Cashmere Capital" and capturing a broader international market.
Ordos cashmere not only warms the world but also awakens people's awareness of environmental conservation through scientific, artistic, philosophical, cultural, and ecological design concepts. She hoped to harness national and cultural confidence to lead global cashmere trends with Ordos' cashmere clothing industry.
