This year, Ordos internatinal airport has been working to promote the "Ordos – Warm City for 10,000 Inbound Tourists" aviation and tourism project, supported by favorable policies from the Ordos municipal bureau of culture and tourism.

In June, direct flights from Ordos to Incheon, Cheongju, Jeju and Muan in South Korea, were launched in succession, followed by a direct flight to Hanoi, Vietnam, in July, and a direct flight to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, in August.

So far, Ordos international airport has served over 9,200 passengers arriving from abroad and over 21,000 total passengers. With international inbound flights being launched one after another, many international tourists are choosing to enter China through Ordos, promoting the city’s economic development and cultural exchange with the outside world and greatly enhancing its popularity and influence in the domestic and international tourism markets.
