Ordos Aquarium recently welcomed 2,563 "new residents" of 36 species.
Cowfish
The cowfish, also known as the bullhorn, is a kind of marine fish that mainly lives in the coral reef areas of the Indian Ocean. Two small horns on the top of its head make it look like a calf.
Black-spotted pufffer fish
Kobold is mainly distributed in the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific coral reef waters. Its head is like a puppy, with two big round eyes.
Blade fish
The blade fish's head and tail are pointed, and the mouth is always down and the tail up, suspended straight in the ocean. Weird, right?
Butterfly fish
The butterfly fish is docile and usually lives around coral reefs in the wild. Like other marine fish, it varies in color depending on the region.
Two-band clownfish
The compatibility of the two-band clownfish with anemones is excellent. All ten species of anemone that form symbiotic relationships with clownfish can serve as homes for the two-band clownfish, making it a big winner in terms of adaptive evolution. This adaptability also makes it the most widely distributed clownfish species.
Pacifier anemone
The pacifier anemone gets its name from its tip, which is shaped like a pacifier. Young pacifier anemones are actually rather cute.
Parrotfish
Parrotfish is known for being as colorful as parrots, with a variety of body colors. It is particularly beautiful when brightly colored.
