On Aug 8, the Hanggin Banner Sand Control and Wind Power Photovoltaic Integration Project, owned by Kubuqi New Energy Co in Ordos, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, was officially registered.

The project is part of the first batch of sub projects of the 10.3 million kilowatt integrated project for sand prevention and control and wind and photovoltaic power in Ordos, with an installed capacity of 1 million kW and equipped with an energy storage capacity of 150,000 kW per two hours.

The project is an important exploration and practice in the prevention and control of desertification and the development of new energy in Ordos.
