The 2024 Ordos Marathon will start at 4:30 pm on Aug 24 and include four events: marathon (42.195 kilometers), half marathon (21.0975 km), health run (10 km) and fun run (5 km). It is expected to receive 25,000 participants.

Since its commencement in 2016, the Ordos Marathon has quickly become a landmark event popular among runners at home and abroad.

The Ordos Marathon is distinctive as a "starry sky marathon", lasting from sunset till night. The event is set to kick off in the city's Kangbashi district, which is also China's first national 4A-level tourist attraction approved for its urban landscape.  

Starting from the Wulan Mulun Lake District Square, the runners will pass the waterfront scenery of Hubin Road and the green corridor of Huhetala Road, getting fully immersed in the unique landforms and scenery of Ordos and feeling the immensity and mystery of the universe under the starry sky. It will be an experience no runner will forget!

The race is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested can register on the official platform of the race before 10:00 am on Aug 4 (https://eeds-registration.mararun.com/). Click on the sign up button on the website or scan the official registration QR code, then read and agree to event-related documents, fill in and confirm the registration information, and pay the registration fee to complete registration. The entry number can be checked at 10:00 am on Aug 19.

The applicant must fill in the personal registration information truthfully and accurately to ensure that the player can receive the relevant event information in a timely manner.

Each applicant can only choose one event for online registration. Group registration is not accepted.
