The 2024 World New Energy & New Materials Conference, which opened in Ordos on July 26, saw the announcement of seven technological achievements, namely a zero-carbon airport that integrates wind, solar, thermal, electricity power, power storage, and cooling; key technologies with hydrogen power as the pivot for building a low carbon or zero carbon intelligent park; silicon carbon negative electrode massive production technology; carbon-hydrogen fuel nano technology; Fischer-Tropsch synthesis of alpha olefin separation and purification technology; key technologies for making jet fuel from biomass; and application of new phase change materials in energy storage.
These achievements are expected to boost the new energy and new materials sectors, accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading, and bolster green development.
