A total of 1,300 Mengdian new energy vehicle (NEV) chargers have just been launched in the seven banners and districts of Ordos city, located in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
With both slow and fast charging modes, the maximum output power of a single charger can reach up to 120 kilowatts, to fully charge most pure electricity vehicles in about two hours.
These charging facilities are among the first batch of their kind in Inner Mongolia and were launched in line with its Six Policies for Promoting New Energy Vehicle Charging Facilities in Urban Areas policy issued by the Inner Mongolia Housing and Urban-rural Development.
It's regarded as being a substantial step forwards in improving Ordos' urban charging facility system and is expected to contribute in a major way to the city's building of green transportation.
